Analemma is a Biodynamic® grower-producer,
crafting wines from 100% Columbia Gorge fruit.

A Soulful Approach

Analemma exists to craft characterful wines and foster life through a soulful approach to farming and winemaking. We actively farm the vineyards where our grapes grow and all our wines are produced at our winery onsite. We embrace regenerative farming practices that actively support the vitality of our land and seek to inspire curiosity about the natural world in our community.

With a commitment to growing biodynamic fruit from inception, we began farming in The Gorge in 2010 and planted the first vines at our estate in Mosier in 2012. We received Biodynamic® certification from Demeter in 2017 and released our first Biodynamic® Wines in 2020. With the help of our team and community, we are eager to continue building a model of sustainable wine growing and to reveal the unique voice of this land.

Our Heart & Home

We found our heart and home at a cherry orchard in the Mosier Hills in 2011. Here, we have a canvas to put our philosophy into practice and to create wines of time and place. Remodeled from an existing barn on the property, our onsite production facility demonstrates green-building qualities. Our property consists of orchards, vineyards, lavender plantings, pastures for grazing, and gardens and is the home to seven farm residents and three jersey cows.

Our hospitality program is located here at the winery in our cellar door, where guests are invited to experience our wines while exploring our estate and learning about our farming philosophy. With the help of our team and community, we are eager to continue building a model of sustainable wine growing and to reveal the unique voice of this land.

The Analemma

The analemma is a figure-eight shape the sun makes in the sky over a calendar year. This shape is a visual representation of a specific place on earth, acting as a fingerprint of place. We are inspired to give a voice to the land by acknowledging each site’s uniqueness and helping articulate its full expression of personality and character.

Just as the analemma represents the unique fingerprint of a place, we strive for each bottle of wine produced in our cellar to serve as a totem of its place of origin. The symbol of the analemma embodies our pursuit: to showcase characterful wines with a sense of place.

Mosier, Oregon – Our Heart and Home

With a commitment to growing biodynamic fruit from inception, we began farming in The Gorge in 2010. We found our heart and home at a cherry orchard in the Mosier Hills the following year and began planting vines in 2012. We have maintained 10 acres of orchards to preserve diversity in our farming operations and to honor the community’s agricultural heritage. Our property consists of orchards, vineyards, lavender plantings, pastures for grazing, and gardens and is the home to seven farm residents and three jersey cows.
